The day awakened in our Marthoma Central School with the notes of music in the air as we proudly inaugurated the Music Club named as ‘Beethoven Music Club’. Our Principal, Rev. Jijo. T. Mutheri , gave an inaugural speech and honored the special guest of the day, Mr. Jayan Malamari, the famous Tablist. (Super Star Singer Junior of Amritha TV, Idea Star Singer of Asianet), who inaugurated the occasion. Director of the musical institute, Mr. Stalin George, Evg. Mr. Aneesh Das, Staff secretary of the school, Ms. Archana R., Head boy Alin Ashok and Devikrishna spoke on the auspicious occasion. Students and staff of the school were provided with the opportunity to learn music and several musical instruments like Violin, Tabla, Guitar and Keyboard every Wednesday from 8.30 to 10.30 am under the guidance of efficient teachers.

School libraries are places for learning and thinking. They play a key role in supporting and developing literacy and the enjoyment of reading. Students use libraries to enhance their classroom experiences. A library is an important  source of knowledge to young minds in  schools. It develops the important habit of reading among the students.

A smart classroom is  a digitally equipped classroom with a huge variety of teaching and learning methods using technology. It could be something as simple as incorporating audio and visual components to a lesson, which many classrooms are doing these days (and have done so in the past as well). The smart class makes learning fun and interesting for the students and enables teachers to teach effectively. Hence, the smart class is a technological boon for the education system. It provides opportunities for the students to help in understanding the concept better and achieving their academic excellence.

A computer lab is  a space which provides computer services to a defined community. Computer labs are typically provided by libraries to the public, by academic institutions to students who attend the institution, or by other institutions to the public or to people affiliated with that institution.

Science lab equipment allows students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts. It is also found that school science lab equipment and supplies make teaching and learning easy both for the teachers, as well as for the students

Karate classes are a great way for kids to get their wiggles out, no doubt. ... Just like other sports, martial arts will help build your child's stamina, strength, and speed. After a few weeks in class, you'll begin to notice their reflexes getting faster and their muscles stronger as they learn to block, kick and punch.

Band allows students a chance to practice emotions, fine motor skills, discipline, rigor, and persistence. Band is a safe place where all students can develop discipline, teamwork and the love of making music together. Band is collaborative! It teaches patience, persistence, and responsibility.

An abacus is  a calculation tool used by sliding counters along rods or grooves, used to perform mathematical functions. In addition to calculating the basic functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, the abacus can calculate roots up to the cubic degree.

Playing the violin activates large portions of the brain, resulting in faster processing, increased memory, and protects against memory-related diseases .Playing the violin increases brain development, especially in the prefrontal cortex, the part that aids in focus and problem solving.
